Koni Sport shocks

  clio sport 172
I have Koni sport shocks (yellow) on my 172, they go from 0 - 180 - 360 - 720 deegres, and what would be the best setting for them, for example maybe stiffer front, smoother back...i have the standard clio sport springs. if anyone has them or has an advice i would appreciate it

thnx!

no deffinative answer to your question as it all depends on how you like it/drive it and also on what kind of roads...
simple emough to have a play over the course of a day off, just try and keep variables to a minimum when testing. ie same road at same speed in same weather conditions with same tyre pressures!! then possibly start again with different tyre pressures if you find nothing is working for you!!

i would personally start at 360 degrees (50% max stiffness) front and 0 degrees (minumum resistance) rear with 33 psi front and 28psi rear and go from there!!

out of interest why standard springs??

thnx mat-nos! the springs are standard because here the roads are not so ideal for a lowered car so i had so far no interest for lowering the car.
i will start with 360 - front, 0 - back and will see how it will be

Sod that, super soft all round for me for everyday and wound right up hard for the track, thats with the koni springs as well mind..

I fancy trying mine with a set of Sportline springs though

The clios seem to work best with the back a good bit harder than the front, but as Jamie is saying, for the road most aftermarket sets will be best pretty soft.
I run a two way adjustable set, for the road I have compression as soft as it will go with the rebound reasonably high to stop it being bouncy (the spring rates are pretty high!)
