Ktec exhaust slipping

My newly fitted recessed ktec exhaust keeps on rotating on the sleeved joints even after tightly clamping with Mikalor clamps, what can I used to put in the joint to holt it right? I was going to use high temp silicone if that'll work.

Try a standard u bolt exhaust clamp first. Sometimes I find those Mikalor ones don't clamp very well and end up stripping the threads.

You clamping the the place? I had that issue and I'd put the clamps too far down the pipe. They need to be at the end going over the slits on the end of the pipe

Ah don't say that, I bought mikalor clamps because the look neat and yes I've clamped on the very end over the cut ends.

I'll pull the joints back and try HT silicone and leave over night see if that's any better

I'd just use the standard U bolt clamps which came with the exhaust. My ktec came with them anyway, never been a problem.
