Ktec Stealth Supersports MK2

Has anybody got as stated above a Ktec stealth supersports system but the new style they have on their site? If so what does it sound like, is it different to the older style and do you have any videos? :)

I have it on mine, it did my head in the the first 1000 miles or so but has settled down a bit. I'm still considering getting a silenced centre section as it's not great on the motorway.

I'd avoid the KTEC stealth. It drones and booms most at 70-80mph in 5th gear which is brilliant for motorway driving..... Then when your giving it some it just doesn't have much character to it. The scorpion system I've got on my 182 in comparison sounds great being driven through the gears and at a 70 mph cruise you can't even tell its an aftermarket system, well until I fit my decat anyway.

I'd have a look at a BTB stealth, I've heard good things.

I seem to have a different opinion then most on this.

I love my supersports exhaust. I dont find it that drones too badly on the motorway. I think though if your coming from a standard exhaust it probably could be too much. My last exhaust wasn't standard and it droned awfully at times. Way worse then the supersports.

It can be loud when your giving it some but tbh I'm a big kid and I love the noise.

I watched loads of YouTube videos begore I purchased. Just type in ktec supersports and loads come up.

I found my ktec system to be loud at the wrong times i.e. on the motorway then too quiet when giving it stick. It was the centre box'd version mind.

Each to their own really, best advice to the OP would be to go to a meet and ask somebody for a demonstration of their ktec system. There's loads of 172's around with them on.

My final word on Ktec's exhausts would be if their own were any good would they "acquire" Fred's Yozzasport exhausts and sell them if they could design them better themselves. I understand them selling Milltek etc because they're big names by specialist exhaust companies, but them selling yozza's is like BTB selling ktec systems.

Thanks for the info, i currently have a standard system with a prospeed rear silencer but i had to bodge it together due to the pipe diameter differences, i think i will take it somewhere and get them to make up a custom centre section that joins my prospeed :)

I was wondering if it would be possible to bend the end pipe of the Yozzasport so it matches the angle of the KTEC Stealth? I love the sound of the Yozza on the clips I've seen, but I want to keep the bag end clean as I really like the lack of exhaust in the bumber.
