KTR Group N ECU

Hi guys looking for some help.My mate has is away to trade his 172 cup in and has asked me if i wanted his Group N ECU So i can fit it onto my car but i have been told that it will not work is this correct

You've got to weigh it up against the cost of getting a Group-N ecu re-map on your existing ecu i guess...
