Not sure if this is the right section as it isn't a Clio.
My mate at work has a Volvo V50 2.0d sport remapped to just over 200bhp.
He said the clutch slips slightly, but it isn't a problem as he just drives around it, and doesn't drive it hard anyway. On the weekend he noticed that it has suddenly lost a lot of power, where it should normally be pulling very well in say 3rd gear at 2500rpm, it will just very slowly pick up, like a N/A car would in 5th at 2000 rpm. Anyone got any ideas what could be causing this?
If not for the specific car, are there any common faults with Turbo Diesels that cause this kind of problem?
