Lacquer???

Hi,

I'm colour coding my bump strips at the moment

I've done it all, and put a couple of coats of lacquer on them, but how long do I need to leave them before putting them back on the car?

Someone please help!

24 hours i belive. preferably somewhere warm and dry to harden it as much as possible

dont put them back on if your planning on using any sort of cutting compound/polish as its just a ballache taking them off again. i left mine a good week inside where it was warm, before polishing/waxing. then put them back on the car.

How many coats of lacquer did you use?

its almost impossible to say, as you use however many coats it needs.

generally around 3 coats should be ok
