Would a manual JC5 from a Mk1 Laguna F4P fit a Ph1 Clio 172?

yes. You'll probably find its a Tin sump however, so will leave a bit of the flywheel exposed. however I ran one a fair few years ago with no issues.

Ok cool, thanks for the reply.

The gear ratios are pretty good and with it being a 2nd car I can live with it doing 3600rpm at 70 for the better acceleration.
