lambda sensors

had the 182 3 days now and engine management light came on, code read it and came up with lambda sensor bank 1 sensor 1...how hard is the top lambda to replace?

and wheres the best place to buy them...genuine?

Out of interest what side effects from the damaged Lambda, poor fuel ecomony - if so how bad or anything else.

Bad fuel economy, misfiring, Emmision light on dash. Bosch are Genuine, you can buy them at Eurocarparts and GSF with the correct plug.

So if I had no Misfire or emmision light but still had bad fuel economy (23mpg round town) could that still be the lambda, sorry for thread stealing.

so this should be easy enough on a ramp (work in a garage but not had time to look lol)

anyone know the rough price for a gsf one? renault want £94odd and euro are £81odd but i'd rather go genuine if there only a tenner in the price

and if a faulty lambda...the excess unburnt fuel can damage the cat aswell as the other stated side effects

Yeah easy on a ramp, think I paid 65 Inc vat for a ntk one (trade) there is a risk of damaging the cat if left.
