Hi everyone...... im having lambda issues which looks like a common problem.....
Recently had the immissions light come on indicating a fault on Lambda 1.. after alot of fault finding i found this was due to the lambda loom melting due to heat coming from the exhaust.. The loom was cut out and new wiring put in place hardwired straight from the ECU to the lambda.
Ever since I have had so many issues with the car not getting enough fuel and resetting the lamba fault via diagnostics. I have since been running the car with the lambda unplugged which works fine however burns more fuel. Today I have plugged in a brand new lambda in with the same fault showing(lambda 1) and the car running as if its struggling for fuel...
Any ideas?
Would a ECU reset do anything?
