lambda's: where from how much??

right ive managed to find a cable throttle 172 engine with loom and ecu, trouble is its a later one with 2 lambda's and the loom didnt come with them attached

do i need both plugging in as i was going to put a sleeve on one and plug the other into the decat. will the ecu throw a wobbler if i dont plug one in?

which leads me onto the main question, if i do need 2, where can i get them and roughly how much should they be? can i use those 'universal' ones on ebay?

i had one pack up and it meant that it were underfuelling so just putting it in a sleeve wont be good for you as youll have the wrong readings

are they different for before and after the cat?

if so which one is it? full working order?

to be honest, i don't know if there is any difference. it came in a 182 manifold i bought, which was from a crashed car with 5k on. i'll try it on my car, and if you do have any trouble then, you can send it back and i'll happily give you your money back if need be.
just let me know what you want to do?

yep pre and post cat have different part numbers

you only need the pre cat one, new its about £80! i need one, i`m trying to source them cheaper at the moment

well i assume because that one came in a manifold that it was pre-cat?? would that be right?

is there a part number on the sensor anywhere?

fred- when you say 'you only need the pre-cat one' does that mean i dont actually have to plug one into the post cat plug connector? and what are the part numbers for pre and post? just so i know
