Laptop clock running slow?

got a dell 1300 and the clock runs slow.

i double click on the clock, hit update and it corrects the time. then 30mins later its out by like 2 mins, after a few hours its like 15-20mins out.

looked on MS website but cant find a fix.

anyone help??

My other half gets Dell Laptops for her job, she has never had one that actually holds the correct time. It's not worth updating, as like you say, it's completely wrong again within hours.

Given up on it now, seems odd though.

i have never had one do that
but all mine do get updated automatically
