Laptop For £400 - Suggestions!

Hi,

My mum wants a laptop but only wants to spend £400 max.

I found this on Dabs and decided to go for it but unfortunately when it arrived it was faulty (hardware fault) and had to be returned. I wanted Dabs to send a replacement but the product had been discontinued...

The Dabs laptop was identical to this one...

Back on the hunt now but I really can't find anything suitable for £400...Any ideas or should I just go for the one above again (Laptops direct)?

Ideally I'd like a Core Duo with 1Gb ram...:S

I'm in the same boat.

Need a laptop for about the same amount of money... needs to be fast for internet etc. I don't play games on it as I have an xbox.

So i'm just after a laptop with speed and storage.

Any suggestions?
