Laptop slow these days

Of late my laptop seems to be extremely slow at uploading a page. For example if i clicked on 'Forum' it would take several seconds to load the page.

I just did a Speedtest and the results i got were as follows, i was only really ever aware of Download speeds and going by the test its pretty much what BT promised. However surely the upload speed is far far too slow?

Download: 18.27 Mbps

Upload: 0.95 Mbps

Speeds are fine, try ccleaner, malwarebytes and then use google chrome.

Well after running a speed test it suggested getting Chrome and so i did, already seems a heck of alot faster.

You don't "upload a webpage" it downloads. upload is slow cos you hardly use it, so better using the bandwidth for downloading, well at least that's my understanding.
