laptop wont find router?

my laptop wont find my bt home hub, hooked myself onto a neighbours connection, any idea how i can connect laptop back up to my own connection again? it just wont find it!

happens to me sometimes
a simple turn the router off and back on, and restart your laptop.

works for me

Is your router working?

Is there anything else in the house that is connected to the router just now?

Try connecting via Ethernet and see if that works..

Restart the router, turn on/off your wireless on your laptop, Connect via CAT5 see if that makes any difference, and as Zippo said, can any other devices see the router (PS3 maybe ??)
