last chance for LED back lights

I have posted previously regarding my sons Clio led back lights. I have had the resistor box changed on both sides. Also I fitted a new battery as the other one was on from new ie 6 years old. Ive also added additional earth points to each wire at the connector. The problem being that the tail lights on both units works fine till we start the engine, then they go out. Leave the engine running and switch them off and on again and theyre fine. Next port of call switch stalk, but I admit Im grasping at straws here. As anyone got any advice at all on this its doin my f*ckin head in. His original lights work fine.
