I think the extra torque will be addictive and it feels much more planted in the bends.

I'd have got the vette if i was still working in Basingstoke but my job is being relocated to Newbury in January. The Corvettes I was looking at were over 10 years old so putting those sort of miles on it wouldn't be practical.

I was going to get an Ultra Red one near me but this is same price,
8 months newer, 5k less miles, still in warranty, and has the expensive LY paint and xenon options.

I'm man enough for a yellow car LOL

I did the opposite, this was my old R26, sold it due to buying a flat!

Few reasons. My ph1 was awesome to drive, as Tony said, it was more fun than the R26.R at oulton. I don't like turbo engine's generally, much prefer NA. It was a great deal, about 1.5k under the average, and that's probably why I considered it at the time. But hand on heart, awesome as they are, I've never clicked with one 100%.

Happy I waited and ended up with a 200.

Seller wasn't happy. Had the cash in my hand, about to leave the house and changed my mind.

I think its a realistic price, people advertising there 172s for £3k+ are dreamers TBH

They aren't worth a w.ank now unfortunately. TBH, £1800 is strong money!! I'd have thought £12/1300 was more the money.

Mine needs a front end respray and drivers xenon is suffering from condensation so I was happy with that. I'd only get £23/2500 after sorting those issues so the trade in is worth it for convenience.

I might be tracking it at Brands on the second day of ownership!

It won't stay standard for long. I can't really say about the plans apart from there's only one company that will be working on it.

Don't have room for another car unfortunately. If I did I'd have bought a Corvette and a cheap runabout.

Well not quite, the local Polish hand wash place cleaned it as I was in a rush to go to view the Megane. £6 FTW.

The drivers side wheel has patches of brake dust that won't budge
