Latest mod for the Sport

  Mazda 3 MPS
Afternoon all. I think I may be 'over-bumming' the car at the moment but the novelty hasn't worn off at all, hence all the pics I've been posting sorry

Anyway, I must say www.fancyplates.com are excellent. I ordered the new plate with them before dinner time yesterday and as promised, it arrived today. So, here's some pics...

Got the old one off without too many problems... Gave the area a little rinse...

Forgot to take a before picture so had to hold the original in place for a pic...

Looks alot better to me, just really worried about getting fined for it. I'll carry the original in the boot in case I think :approve:

Looks really good, Couldn't decide between 3/4 and Pressed and you know what I chose LOL

How much did it cost?

About £16 delivered I think mate. Only £12.00 for the plate, but the delivery was so fast it was worth the extra £ or ££'s that they charge for postage and packing ykno.

also, a cup splitter would suit it nicely

Thanks dude, I'm looking to get a c/f splitter tbh, although I'm not sure wether to just go for a cup one like you say. I'll try to decide soon :S

Cheers Coby, pressed plates look really cool if you ask me, but I didn't know if they'd look right on mine so that's why I opted for the 3/4.

Cheers for the comments guys :approve:

I'd have gone for a plain normal plate tbh. To me smaller plates on cars with big recesses look a bit daft. At the end of the day you like it so that's what matters.

Thanks Chris. You inspired me  Nice avatar by the way, I see you've met my ex ;)

I'm still unsure about these.

Car looks tidy though.

I was on the fence at first and I must be honest, it doesn't look all that good in the pics, but in the flesh it's quite nice.

Looks good. Such a popular mod now. Hope you don't get pulled over for it.

If I do get pulled and end up with a lighter wallet then I'll prob just revert back to the original. Thanks for the comments lads

  Go cry to your momma!
3/4 FTW...suits the majority of cars, mine were also from fancy plates. Top service =]

Id have to agree with "cat171" if there wasnt the recess then it would look sweet!

Got to agree . If there wasn't a recess it would look good , but with the recess in the bumper it just doesn't look right to me .

Each to their own tho' !

I dont know why people are under the impression that this looks good, the plate just looks too small for the recess in the bumper, and it simply isnt worth the trouble it will land you in with the police etc.

Ive been pulled once for my French plates, since sept. Told them id change them but erm i forgot. If i get pulled again, then fair enough £30 fine, but id rather risk it and get the use out of them!

Looks good fella, always recommend Fancyplates

What plates on the rear?

The original is still on the rear at the moment but I'll be changing that in a few weeks for a plain rear one (no logos, borders etc..) But I'll do that when I change the renault sport badge for the new style badge.

Thanks everyone for their comments.
