Layering Waxes

  Not a 320d
Any time period I need to leave the first layer of wax for before adding another layer?

Best Of Show is on the cards, after having little luck with durability (On my own car that is) im going to wipe down with IPA, apply the cleaner fluid ive just bought to try, and then apply wax. Want to apply 2 layers to try and make it last 2 weeks this time round. :dapprove:

In before OP is a fag, and Im washing the car with BTBM (1 cap per Megs Grit Guard Bucket). Other cars ive applied BOS to have seen 5 months durability (until Mercaedes Dealership Stgripped it), and 4 months (until BMW dealership stripped it). So i know how to apply wax and remove it, and maintain it.....I think.

Couldn't understand this from the pm
The other day chap. You're not doing anything wrong, and as we agreed, BTBM isn't exactly known for stripping waxes!

I personally wax, leave it one week, then top up. Then top up every 1-2 months max and strip back every 6.

Thought you might say that JD, I mean immediately after applying the first layer. I might wait a day and re apply or something.

Some waxes you can apply more often, but 24 hours is a good time-scale to wait. Just ensure the car doesn't have a layer of dust or anything on it when you do.
