LCD TV's

I got a 26" Samsung LCD last year and have been really pleased with it. I ordered it from Waratah who were cheapest at the time and had a brilliant reputation but they are doing that one slightly more expensive. Have a look on Av forums (I think it is, Rasclart posted the link ages ago but I dont have it as im on a new pc now), lot of info and views on there.

i've recently bought a plasma 42" samsung, they are good screens, samsung supply quite a lot of other manufacturers with screens, one being Sony.

Just the other week I got a 26" Samsung LE26R41BD which I think is probably the same one as Karen. Very pleased with it ... it's got all the right inputs and is properly high-definition ... and is always very well regarded in the AV press.

That seems like a familiar model number!? The one with inbuilt Freeview?

I bought a 42" Panasonic series 7 for work and 2 26" Samsung, one with freeview one without.

The Panasonic is the dogs, but I have to admit that the colour balance it better on the two Samsung ones. Microsoft recommended we get them for colour balancing on games, as the black is very black.

Input wise they have everything you would ever need, the only thing missing is DVI, but you'll either be using component or HDMI anyway.

I don't think you can fault the current Samsung or LG screens.

I've got a Panasonic 42" PV500 plasma, the colours and picture quality are just breath taking!

For the bedroom I've got a 17" Philips LCD *thumbs up*

Yep ... that's the one. I'm not into having a really big TV since my boys watch enough as it is and I don't want it dominating our living room. This one seems to be the ideal balance between the screen size but small dimensions.

Very neat :approve: Mine is covered in dust lol.

Has anyone tried hanging these on the wall yet, are they easy??? (I would enlist a man to help so easy as in easy for a man to fix up I mean).
