Leak

Just bought a 182 and on the way back from buying it I noticed a leak at the front now it smells like coolant but my water isn't going down at all and the car isn't overheating :/ anyone know what could be up with it?

Previous owner could of topped it up and spilt some which is now coming out of the bottom?

Ahh maybe? Because they don't actually work. I'll have a look, but thing is it only happens when I put my foot down :/

Check if your washer fluid is going down without using it. My headlight washer were leaking, my bottle was empty in a few days.

Air con causes condensate to run down, so was my first thought too, but that shouldnt smell like coolant, should just be clean clear water.

I did think this, however, I have found some nasty smelling water from AC before.

Again, sounds like aircon.


Try driving it without the aircon switched on, see if it still does it!
