leaking sunroof, help!

helloooo,

ive got an 04 plate clio, 1.2 and ive recently noticed that ive been having a huge puddle in my passenger footwell, talking a good few cm and also the roof lining above the passenger door is wet? is this likely to be the sunroof leaking and it being the seal or is it something else? took three towels to only soak up the puddle alone just to find that it rains the next day and for all the water to come flooding back.

has anybody got a solution for this? like a new seal?

could be a door seal rather than the sunroof. Ive had all my sunroof seals replaced 18 months ago and its no leaking again. I dropped the head lining out and took the sun roof off. Turns out it was the plastic circles on the glass which is where the sunroof bolts into were lose. Im going to stick some mastic sealant on it, so i'd check them too.

Best way, ive found to check the sunroof is drop the head lining out and sit in the car while someone sprays the outside with a hose until it starts to leak.

Might also be worth checking the drains for the sunroof they often get blocked.

same thing happend to mine leaky sunroof theres bolt under the rooflining u remove to take the sunroof and weather strip completely of i sealed mine with some good gaskit sealer / silicone
