Leaky Sunroofs Again

My roof is still letting in water, although not as much. I cleaned the internal rubber seal last time (the one the glass sits on) as it was full of sealant. The trough it sits in also had expanding foam in it.

So the leakings not as bad but still there. I cant see any drainage holes at the front corners though. Anyone help as to where, specifically, they are. I can see 2 wells to the front and just inside the metal runner mechanism. These were full of water before cleaning everything out. But now just the passenger side one has water in it.

Are the drain holes in here somewhere. Do I even have any as I heard some early ones didnt (mines 93 L)

Any help much appreciated.

Hello mate, dont know whether this will help. I had a leak in my car in the summer, didnt know where it was coming from. Then i noticed the Arial was loose so i took it off put some ruber sealent in the hole put the arial back in place, tightened the bolt and problem was fixed. Hope this helps dude.

My valver doesnt have drainage pipes mate !! Its a degign flaw !! The water builds up the eventually seeps over the seal ! Best thing to do is silicone the sunroof to the car then replace the glass to sunroof seal !! But be warned this seal is £80+ from renault !! You might be better off getting one from a scrapyard !! I got mine from renault below is the code for it and a pic of it !! Its a lot thicker than the one thats on my car at the moment and i hope will do the job.

I hate my Sunroof with a passion! I cant work out my leak! I thought i had it all sorted when i fixed my arial and the leak stoped. Got in my car today and i got a good pint of water on me! Im just gunna take mine to Renault to sort out now!

Mines crap too! Leaks everywhere and has wrecked my remote locking! Craig, you can fix mine if you want!
