Leaving car on stands

Car  182 (Conversion)
Hi guys,

Need to sort some suspension issues which means having the car up on stands for a few weeks.

Where is the best place to put some stands for this length of time? And any other tips appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

on the main chassis legs under the car at the front (box section) just behind the subframe plates and the rear jacking points are fine to use

There isn't a diagram / pic of where to put the stand at the front is there ?

Don't quite understand Freds (probably good) description. :o

its the two chasis rails if u pop ur head under ur car ull see two like triangle plates then just behind that ull see a square rail which is strong enuogh to jack ur car up on and leave it on axle stands

apart from where you put them, you just need to make sure the stands are OK and use solid, level ground

it's a good idea to leave something (spare wheels/wood blocks/etc) underneath the floor, just incase some idiot decides to try and push it over in the night (unless you're using a garage/secure land of course)
