Lens Advice?

What have you got already? Kit?

It all depends what you want it for though.

I'm debating between a 50mm or a 70-200/300.

All comes down to funds. I need them both though. Unfortunatley i would only be able to afford the 50mm 1.8

10-20mm

50mm is lots of lens for the money, but its £80 - speaks volumes about the quality. Mine very rarely gets used as the results are usually poor.

A budget would help us spend your money.

Thought of getting a budget 70-300? Got my Tamron brand new from jessops last year, was less than £90 with cashback!

if your happy with that and dont now want to move onto expensive L glass which IMO is the next step ..

get yourself a telephoto and you have some reach in your bag

Very open question..

Do you need a zoom ? Or a WA lens ? Or do you want a prime ?!

10-20 (sigma) is a cracking lens for an APS-C sensor camera. 50mm F1.8 is great for making you think about taking photos, rather than being able to just zoom in and get what you want. My Tamron 70-300 is more than OK, even though it's a budget lens, and it does macro too.

Depends what you want really !?

www.camerapricebuster.co.uk usually has the most up to date prices on it of all the lenses you could ever want !

hahah love people throwing in suggestions when they have no idea what its for.

what do you want to do with it?

Canon 400mm f2.8 L IS II.

It looks nice and you'll be able to take pictures of things really far away.
