Lens repair anyone?

Anyone know where I can send a Sigma 10-20mm HSM (Nikon fit) lens to for a repair?

My camera was dropped on holidays and the casing has come off the rear of the Sigma lens
- the part that would lock into the body of the camera

Any advice would be appreciated

Bad luck! Probably back to Sigma themselves. Where did you buy it from?

Any pics? I am always curious to see the internals on stuff like this.

Send sigma a photo of it first, they may not be bale to repair it.. or at a cost effective price.


I have a broken olympus 40-150 lens i can take some photos of to satisfy your curiosity? lol

A camera repair place in Luton that Dad found out about can repair the lens for around £60 + post

£60 sounds like a decent price! Canon charge horrific amounts to fix theirs.

good price that, i think sigma charge something stupid like £90 just to look at it

Yeah Sigma site has something like £80 for the part and £40/hour to repair it

I'm having it repaired at the moment with a few new parts included - £87 + return P&P

Will fire up a pic of it later that I took on the mobile - just for the curious lot
