Thats were your Fuel rail Guard goes isn't it? Does that have anything that looks like it should connect to it??

OK right, I'm no mechanic so bear with this!!

It is some sort of Black Plastic Grommet with some sort of sensor as it has 2 Electrical wires coming out of it which are Green and Brown, It runs underneath the Fuel Guard and Connects into the main block at the other end aswell,

As I said I'm no mechanic in the slightest, Sorry!

You have anything there which looks anything like what I've described??

i have summat with a piece of black plastic pipe thats coming off it, looks like some sort of sensor but not sure exactly what it is lol and not sure if it would even fit in there lol

On the 182 im sure that pipe going into the plenum goes to the AV. MAy be different on the older engines i spose. im gunna have to have a look now ill get a pic if its any help.

does that mean i can do without it? it cant be a fpr then if some have it and some dont?! unless it got relocated on some engines?

must just be some sort of sensor for load/fuelling (im assuming this as it goes into the inlet, so some sort of vacuum must operate it?)

where are the renault guru's when you need em?

you had a fuel rail like mine, so will have to either source a fpr fitted rail, or put an inline fpr.

Renault changed the pump to a varying supply of pump depending on throttle position, they also have a fpr in the tank.
