LG 42LH3000 42in LCD TV - GOOD?

I know there are a lot of these threads of late, but this has just come for sale at work for a good price.

Anyone got one?

It's LCD though, I thought Plasmas are the way forward for anything over 37".

I think so mate! All my opinion tho that anything bigger than 32/37" should be plasma.

Lcd's have moved on a lot recently tho so the bigger ones still look great.

MAKE SURE IT'S OVER 100HZ.

As above really, for me 40+ = Plasma.

I've an LCD and Plasma, they have their pro's and cons.

What's your main uses going to be?

i got one last yr, brilliant TV and picture is miles better than the £900 equivalent 40" Bravia it replaced. On a side note the in built speakers are immense too.

I have the 47LH5000 & that is good imho... You should be fine with the TV your after as well .
