Light bulbs

  Civic Em1, Civic Eg4
I recently got a set of ultra bright white sidelight l.e.d bulbs off a member on here and now i want to get bulbs the match the colour for my dipped as they are the slightly yellow type colour :dead:
I dont know what bulbs to go for as i dont know what the colour will be like on different makes. Have done a search on here and people seem to talk about the Osram nightbreakers and Phillips bulbs being the whitest and brightest bulbs to get.
Has anyone got a picture for me to see what kinda of colour they are?

i like my osram nightbreakers there a nice white light for a filament lamp

haven't got a pic sorry

If they're anything like my white LED sidelights, no halogen bulb will match the colour with giving out a piss poor light in return. I had ULTRA bulbs in my standard 1.2 headlights, very blue and still legal but the light was pants. I'd just wait and save for an HID kit.

Could i just buy the sport headlights and have them fitted on my 1.2?
Do you have to have headlight washers working for them because i have seen a few on here who have had them on there 1.2's but have never really found out the answer

Yep, you could buy some sport xenons and retro fit them to your 1.2. Youl have to fork out a small fortune for them at Renault or be lucky and get some cheap off a member or ebay.

A HID kit is also an option for good lighting, But without the diffusers i think they are illegal. Some still have them fitted with no promlems i.e. blinding people passing.

Ebay sell ice blue bulbs for about £15-50. They will almost match your led side lights. They look good, And provide adequate lighting. But theyre not amazing ill be honest. For the winter i have Osram Nightbreakers in which are brilliant.

yeahh i was thinking the xenons and the HIDs were both quite expensive options. Hmm ill have to try out some of these bulbs, just you never know what colour there going to be and how bright until you have acctualy bought them.
