seems i have a problem , when i brake my fog light indicater comes on is this a earth fault ?? or anyone one else had this ??

i had this problem on my 1.2 didnt bother taking it to a garage as they wanted stupid amounts to do tests eventually when changing a bulb on the rear lights i come across the problem.
1 of the pins had shorted out and burt the plastic housing on the connection of the bulb holder, quick trip to a scrap yard for 2 others and hey problem solved.
hope this helps it only cost me 2quid just make sure that they dont have the same problem
