Light problems

Hi peeps

I have a 54 plate Renault Clio 1.4 dynamique and I have a problem with the lights, when I turn the lights on at the stork the following lights do not operate, side lights, tail gate, number plate and dash illumination. I have checked all bulbs and fuses and they are fine. Every now and again the lights will work for a couple of days then stop working again.

Any ideas?

PS the dipped beam and main beam work fine (for now)

loose connection some where or maybe a corroded connection

It could be the switch in the stalk, whip the cowl off and check the terminals with a test light or multi meter.
