Light Spray

I have seen spraypaint for rear tailights to change the colour of the glass but still let the light from the bulbs be visible. Could it be possible to use this spray for side repeaters as i cant be bothered to spend more money on blacked out repeaters from k-tec

Sorry no info on the spray , but what about some of these side repeaters ? They would probably be cheaper than spraying yours .

just get a can of matt black or satin black aerosol (£2 or so) give the repeaters a little scuff with a grey scotchbrite or some flatting paper if you have some, anything to just take the shine off them, and spray them from about 12 inches away, very fine dusts, and theyll look tinted
