pros- faster revving and better performance

Pros= aparently they allow you to rev faster and allow power to be transfered to the wheels easier reducing transmission loss
Cons= Only really noticable on tuned engines which have already cost money and cost money once again.

Pros = quicker engine response when used in conjunction with a throttle cable

Cons = if you lighten it too much, your car will be jerky and stall all the time
