Lightened flywheel & gearbox.

I´m thinking about taking some weight from my flyweel. I´ve read many post about rotating mass, torque, and stuff.
I wonder if a lightened flyweel would take some stress from the weak gearbox of the 172 clio.

no not at all..

i was looking at a standard flywheel today it dosn't look like theres an awful lot of material to be removed

Won't realy help the box isn't great only perfect fix is a whole new box.
