About a week ago i saw a clutch pedal that the seller stated had came from a 172 and that it would be able to fit to a valver and make the clutch alot more softer? Is this all c**k and bull?
oh haha thats a first! well my dogbone mount is snapped and has been since i got the car but replacing it this weekend so maybe this isnt helping with the clutch/gear changes but it just seems alot stiffer than my old clio and is hard at the lights&clutch control.
Just think if its a bit softer i can press it quicker, resulting in a quicker shift? lol big wooss i am
There is a guide over on williamsclio but you have to be a member to view it. Its a box off job though so unless you're taking the gearbox off anyway its a bit of an effort just for a lighter pedal. Also you can't use the standard airbox as the 172 fork is too long.
If you pedal is silly stiff it could be because you have a non-genuine clutch cable fitted, anything other than a renault cable will be stupidly stiff. Or it could be routed wrongly.
