Lighting Stalk Replacement: DIY Replacement?

My high/low beam dip control wasnt working properly so I sourced another from Ebay part number 7701057090

Is it a simple plug and play DIY swop?...local indie is asking for one hours labour so £60+ VAT.

Looks like this, though notice the replacement has an Auto button on the end, the original doesn't.
