link between blowing headlamp bulbs, broken lighter and window washer jets broke?

Hi fellow clio owners,

I'm a newbie and have absolutely no mechanical knowledge. Didn't previously realise this site is for all clio owners. I have a clio 1.2 MTV (mark 2, 2000 plate).

Does anyone have an advice or knowledge on whether there could be a link between blowing headlamp bulbs, broken lighter and window washer jets broke (no water spraying despite using pin in holes)? Or is it purely coincidental? My heaters have never really blown out hot air (warmish in winter but takes ages to de-mist screen) so wonder if i have an electrical fault.
If it is coincidental then any advice on repairing lighter (for sat nav n phone charging) and window washer jets are my priority jobs to try fix, as i've bought loads of headlamp bulbs ready on standby, like fluorescent soldiers!

Any info would be appreciated.

How often are the bulbs blowing? you should clean your headlight earths, follow the batterys earth and it should attatch to the divide between the engine and battery (so you will see the battery eath) and there should be another earth next to that which is the light earth, tricky to get to but unbolt it, clean the contact, bit of WD40 and retighten it.

Fag lighter, not sure if it has a seperate fuse, check the fuses anyway, may be on an interior light fuse, does the orange ring light up around it when your side lights are on?

Washer pump has probably failed, you need a new one possibly, there about 6 quid off ebay and not too hard to fit, I have a guide in the guides section if you become a member.

Not sure about heater either because ive never experienced the problem but I would guess it could be the heater matrix, again search on here.

All fixable problems mate, just have to get researching and get them all fixed.

With the washer pump, does it make a noise when the stalk is operated? If so take off the washer pipe at the pump and operate, if water comes out then the pump is ok and you've got a blockage in the pipe. If the washer pump doesn't make a noise, you need to get a multimeter and read the voltage on the plug going into the washer pump.

might be worth going over all of the fuse box and checking every fuse! and replace any that arnt! lol
