Linking 2 macs wirelessly

Struggling with linking my macbook and mac mini wirelessly.

  • I have allowed file sharing on both macs.
  • Internet connection is working fine.
  • Set up a password

I can get into my mac mini from my macbook, but I can't get into the macbook from the mini. I'm getting an error message saying the server is unavailable.
Also, to enter the mac mini I had the option of entering the password. I don't get this option the other way around.

Any ideas?

Solved it.

For anybody who searches and finds this problem, I upgraded the macbook to Snow Leopard. That then showed me the firewall was blocking afp connections, which it hadn't showed on leopard. Allowed the afp connection, and problem solved.
