Haven't posted here for some time, had a little time to kill so dug out a little car history over the last few years. Well, mainly wanted to post a few pictures found of Saners old clio - The 'Green Sheep'
First off, some of you may remember the sheep, Mk2 Ph1 1.4 16v Clio - Miss this car, fantastic car and a real credit to Saner for all his hard work!
Next up, a Toyota Glanza imported form Japan.
This lasted all of a few months, a combination of the errr 'chav image' of the car and the fact the constant fear of crashing a car essentially made from tin cans meant it got shifted for a:
Audi A3 1.8T - W/ K03S Turbo, Custom Intercooler/Exhaust, Forge DV and custom mapping - RR'd at 230bhp (Pinch of salt needed)
Fuel was getting a little silly on this car, so in a moment of genius bought a Focus ST-2 to 'save fuel' Completely standard, great car with the best engine sound!
At this point, doing 1000 miles + a month for work, in an ST-2 it was a bit of a joke, so after a number of run arounds picked up:
BMW 1 Series Coupe 120D 2010
This is the current car! Can drive it as hard as I want and return 40+ MPG all day, not the most exciting of drives but RWD makes up for some of it. Now, to find a project - Re-create the sheep with a bigger engine possibly :approve:
