Lock button woe

The top button on my 4 has lost it's clickyness. Happened on it's own accord, no idea whats going on with it. Bit of a nightmare to press, needs a good hard push/a few pushes to work.

Do i just take it to an Apple shop?

Indeed you do. Apple's customer has always been second to none in my experience, they don't ask questions, they just fix or replace.

Do i get a refurb? Are they just as good etc - or will that one just break again.

I got mine replaced yesterday ( for a different issue) and asked the same question ...

Every "replacement" phone has a quantity of refurbished parts inside them, they have no idea which parts are new and which are repaired ... feels like a brand new phone though, they'll never give you one with a chipped screen etc.
