No don't think the alarm goes off.

Not sure in that case.

My old 172 and the Cup both suffered from faulty central locking (something to do with the drivers door) where it would randomly lock/unlock/lock itself (while driving and when parked up).

my 182 cup locks itself if the keys are a certain distance away, is this not a standard feature?

Yes yes i have, just as i got it perfect something else happens, only does it very very ocassionally. never does it when driving or anything.

If you unlock it, then don't open the doors it will lock again after a while.
