Longer Wheels Bolts info needed Please.

  Clio172cup, Capri 3.9 V8
I bought some 15" alloys for my clio cup recently and although they fit on the front they do not fit on the rear.
I purchased some spacers and the only ones that I found to fit over the counter were 10mm. This has left me with a problem. Although now fitted I need to get some longer Wheel Bolts to ensure the wheels stay on.
I have checked the length and found some on Ebay that are about 8mm longer than standard as these should be upto the job.

does anyone know the spec of the original wheel bolts for a 2003 cup.

Length, width, Thread type, thread depth size etc. or where I can find this out.
Please see the link below and let me know if this would be a suitable replacement.

This is only a temporary measure until my friend has finished building my 5mm spacers for me and my original wheels comeback from the powder coating shop with some spangley new rubber.

Many Thanks

Hmmm

The original bolts iirc are 25mm long.

My 5mm eibach spacers came with 32mm bolts and are fine, the stick out the back of the hub about 5mm but dont contact anything.

If your using 10mm spacers (20mm total track increase) i would say 35-37mm bolts would be needed.

However increasing the track by 10mm per wheel i would say you needed hubcentric adaptors?

Someone who actually knows what they are taking about will be along soon tho so fear not :D

PM edde or fred, they might know.

Cup bolts are the same as normal Clio bolts. I'll have a mesaure of the ones I've got in a second but they look about right.
Hubcentrical are a better option but if your only using them for a short time why not use your old wheels to save the money.

Cheers edde and thanks for the advice.

I would use my old wheels but my tyres are bald after my recent track day antics and the spacers were expected to arrive last month and don't think will be here before xmas.
