Looking at a clio for next car need a few tips

  Dynamique 1.2 16v
Hi, I am new to this forum and just this min joined haha. I am currently looking to get rid of my crappy 1 litre corsa and upgrade to a 1.2 clio.
I am going to look at one tomorrow, itis a 2005 clio extreme 1.2 16v.
Its done about 66k, is that alot for this kind of car or is it ok. Also what are the common problems usually on clios apart from what ive heard the dodgey bonnet catch lol.
Cheapest quote i have had at the moment is £164 a month fully comp. Anyone know if or where a could get it cheaper.
thanks for any help

Mileage seems ok, just check all of the normal stuff like service history, belts etc timing belt should be done at 72k or 5 years i believe (may be wrong on that) so factor that in if you make an offer. I've never heard of anybodies bonnets flying open first hand, but they did on the earlier cars, but should have been sorted by 2005. As for insurance, add a parent etc as a named driver, and if possible park it off of the road at night. Personally, I wouldn't bother with fully comp as the cars value wont be far greater than the premium you'll be paying. TPF&T will knock a fair whack off.
