Even 17 is a bit oversized-

Stick with 16 or even 15..

You bought the wrong car for massive wide wheels. 15/16 you'd be pushed to notice the difference, but on 15" the brakes fill all the gap within the wheels and good tyres will cost you 65-70quid each instead of 110.

my tyres got slashed the other day, and i borrowed some 17" ripspeeds of a mate to get it moved out of the way! my cars been lowered 40mm all round on apex's and when i accelerated, it caused the rear wheels to rub, and it also rubbed when i turned, AND it looked like a bloody tractor! didnt handle very nicely either! luckily they werent on the car very long only a day until i got some tyres sorted for my F1's

Most of the sheds run 17"+.
