looking at phase 1 172 but i need some pointers

its got 91k on the clock, should i be worried, if so what should i look out for..
has anyone got over 90k on hte clock if so what have you had to do mechanically recently...e.tc.

...any advise would be good as im looking at it tonight!

Nop, as long as its been serviced and looked after properly!

How much is it? Dont buy a dog, theres plenty around so dont feel you have to buy the first one you see!

he wants 3.3K 91K FRSH apparentley, what should of been done though on a car this mileage, i.e belts, sensors e.t.c

Usual stuff really such as cam belt. Injectors are common to go so ask if these have been replaced.

You should be paying no more than £3K.

4k rattle on the zorst, cam beltn tensioners + injectors, dont buy one with the dodgy 16" OZF1s esp if its black

when you say injectors, do you mean the platinum spark plug thingies or have I made a schoolboy error...

well i went out and bought it, and i fcukin luv it! first couple of days (wed thursd) commuting to work e.t.c. i thought yeah this is nice fairly quick. i was being careful to make nice easy gear changes, and not taking it passed around 5.5k on the rev. c.
then come friday night. took it home cleaned it off, done a quick check round and then took it for a proper spin. FCUK ME, this thing can fly round the contry roads. i took it all round the mendips with my Girlfriend gripping the passanger seat all the way-we ended up getting home at 6am obviously stopping here and there on the way (if you no what i mean )
