Looking for a 197

I'm starting to look around for 197's now, and would prefer to get one from a dealer (I know it will cost me more, but I'd still like to go this way first).

I've found the following car:

I want an albi and thats the only one listed atm, seems a good price, but do you think I'd be able to bring it down a touch?

I'm also hoping for a good sale price on my current car - they are selling for about 6.5k on average with 25k - 30k mileage. Mine has 15k.

Any tips would be appreciated, or if anyone knows of anywhere else I should look apart from PH, ebay and the trader, let me know!

I've seen that on a few on there, must be a typo or something.

The reason I go to dealers is mainly because of the years warranty that comes with the car, and its just habit. Maybe I should look further afield then?

If you buy a 2 year old second hand one pivately it still has a years warranty.

Actually never looked at it that way strangely enough. I've seen a few nice examples on PH but they are all so far away from me, I don't want to have to travel hundreds of miles to view a car I might not buy.

Also all depends on whether I can sell my current car privately or am forced to part ex.

IMO can usually tell whats a cars going to be like from the advert and the phone call to the owner.

I really don't see the point in buying cars under 3 years old from a dealer. But thats just my opinion.

nae bother dr rolo. tbh we make about 1000 a car so how would we take that off, tht blue one in the picture is a renault to go 197 and there wont be much money at it at that price.

Go sell your car, price it as cheap as you like it will still be better than the trade in value!

Then start looking for a used one.

I did got 3 month old fully loaded cup for less than i paid for my Trophy few yrs back.

Yea it's a stock photo by the looks of it, some of the others on there have actual pics. This is just an example though to gauge what people think I'd get them to lower the price too.

Have just put my car on PH, I'm not really looking to buy until after May, but will be good to see if I get any interest.
