Looking for advice

So basically my Missus is looking to sell her 206 hdi and get a newer car. She's seen a 58 plate Clio 1.2 tce. I've never personally worked on this engine so don't know how reliable/economical it is. Has anybody got a Clio with this engine or had any dealings with this ? Any help would be much apprieceated.

Yeah my Mum had one on a 58 plate. Had it since new until September 2011.
It does have a good bit of kick, much much better than the 1.2 16v 75. Was reliable enough, never had any major problems.
Same with any car really, if its serviced properly and well maintained no reason to suggest it wouldn't last.
