Just ordered my rs tuner box. Looking at a 65mm throttle body any got it on there 172 going to De cat it to or do I do the manifold and decat what do ppl think

Spend lots of monies or buy another car. Concentrate on handling and stopping, that's what they are best at

There's 3 proven ways of getting power out of the F4R engine.

1. Turbo it.
2. Supercharge it.
3. Chuck it in the bin and fit a different engine instead.

N/A tuning is possible, but at huge cost for very little in the way of power gain.

Changing the exhaust manifold will do very little, but the RS Tuner is great for making the car more driveable.

As said, these engines do not respond well to tuning in terms of power. The most you can do is make it a bit more responsive/nicer to drive.

Expect anywhere from 164-182 on a standard (that includes filters, exhausts, generic maps) engine.

Or or spend lots of money and turbo, supercharge, ITB, meg engine it
