on my current insurance with bell i took out an added extra to drive other cars third party only though, BUT if my dad had to buy a 172 for some reason is this policy enough for me to drive it legaly ??
Dont even consider doing it. Insurance co's arent daft and if you crash there is a good chance they will find out what you have done, void your insurance policy and inform the police.
technically yes,
but insurance company's have been know to ask neightbours who they see drive the car,
along with other sneaky ways to find out who drives the car,
theyre not stupid, and they do anything to get out of paying,
the extra is designed to be for convenience and emergencies,
dont think this will go down well with all the people pays through the arse to insure theyre cars legally.
