Loose headlights

Right I was changing the bulb in the passanger side headlight and noticed that the bit where the bulbs go is loose why is this and can it be fixed? Thanks

Headlight height adjustment?

I thought they were automatic adjusters? If it is that how do you fix it?

They are automatic, but the bulb holders need to be able to move in order for them to adjust themselves

It should be able to move relatively freely, but if it's obviously not attached or one headlight's pointing at the sky then it needs fixing.

Good point. It doesnt feel like its attatched to anything so think it will be needing fixed cheers

You might want to check the height at an MOT station - last time I got it done for free.

Ye i will do that first. If I do need to fix it do you need to take the bumper off?

I don't think so. I didn't have to take the bumper off for mine but then I have a Ph.1
