loss of power and exhaust emission light flashing

Hi

Just had a new full system exhaust with sports cat fitted on clio 172 cup, parked car for 30 seconds last night then got back in and car exhaust light is flashing like crazy and exhaust noise has changed completely and there is a noticeable loss of power.

Reading afew articles on here people are suggesting coil packs , HT leads, spark plugs or injectors any help or suggestions on my next move?

Flashing usually means a misfire, so get a code reader on it and find out if it's just one cylinder. If so you can trace it from there by swapping plugs, injectors and HT leads and see which one of those the fault follows. If it's a general/multiple cylinder misfire then usually knackered coil pack or the HT leads are shot, if you're local to Thatcham I've a spare coil pack you could pop in to see if that fixes it.

all sorted it wasn't coil pack but got new one anyway or sparkies, the HT leads were the problem now replaced, thanks for the response car, all up and running like a beauty
